Sheinman is also a specialist Contact Lens Centre. We have established large banks of soft and gas-permeable lenses and in most cases we can fit and supply the lenses on the same day. Disposable, frequent replacement and mail order contact lenses are available.

Checking the health of the back of your eyes (the retina) is the most important part of the eye examination. At Sheinman Opticians we are continually investing in the latest and most innovative technology to ensure that we can offer you the most comprehensive eye health check available. We are delighted to give our patients the opportunity to have the EyeMap ultra-wide digital retinal scan taken using the newest imaging machine; the Daytona. We recommend that all our patients (including children) have the EyeMap scan taken regularly.

I spent 850 on a pair of glasses, I told them I didn't want varifocals, but that is what they gave me in the end. Totally useless as I can't read a thing out of them. In the end a total waste of money and am now using a 2 pair from wilkos' Also spend 500 on a pair for my husband, he has since died so as no use for them. 1500 and a total waste of money. Just wanted a pair that I wouldn' have to keep taking on and off again.

More like Shameful Opticians. Putting spikes on the window sills outside to stop homeless people sitting or even sleeping along them at night times is despicable! Then trying to condone it by saying it's to stop skaters?! I'm telling you now, boarders can still grind those spots. It's obviously to keep homeless away!

Upon booking i was told i might have a charge due to wanting a from signing for a Motor racing licence. Had the eye test no mention of charge, upon paying charged 10. when i inquired why, i was told it was a standard charge. raised to the manager who was most unhelpful, if this is a standard charge why was i not told so when booking. Very poor service and wont get better when the manager has such a poor attitude. Optician was very good and very helpful.

It is a pleasure to write this review about this institution. This is on of the best opticians in the UK. The doctors - the technicians- the reception staff are a unique team. Very helpful, caring and professional. They are worth every penny that they charge. I have been a eye patient for over 40 years and this is the best place that I have found so far. I wish them all the successes and Highly recommend them to every one.

This is an excellent opticians. They have a huge choice of frames and the service is outstanding. The actual premises is very light, bright and clean and the staff are really helpful. I found the follow up care to be really good and they are only too happy to help out with any problems you have with either your frames or your eyes.
