Extremely helpful friendly service by the owner. The eye test was extremely thorough. The range of frames was extensive with some very unusual designs as well. My glasses were ready within two weeks and I am very happy with the veriafical lenses. At a great price. Overall a pleasure to use an independent optician and a great find near Smithfield market, London. I will definitely be going back and highly recommend them.

If you want to waste your time and money then go to Specsavers! That's what I did, I had a "free" eye test (they miscalculated my prescription by the way) then they sold me glasses which arrived damaged. The lesson to learn here is. you definitely get what you pay for. And with Antony you get, 1. Superb service. 2. Very good quality frames. 3. Value for money, now, it may seem a bit more expensive when comparing with others, however, the long-term reward can be felt both financially and in time wasted pursuing a lower quality deal elsewhere. Thanks again guys!

Popped by on my lunch break, Tony was so helpful and gave me his honest opinion on the frames I was trying and helped me find the perfect style. Great service, selection and atmosphere. It was such a good experience, I took my mother and she's now ordered a pair of glasses too!

I came to the optician for my varifocal spectacle. He measured it incorrectly, as I could see the my distance focus was very high and hence I had to look through the top of the lenses to see distances correctly. The optician twisted the nose pieces to correct this and it did not work. He blamed the prescription. As I was told that I could get my money back if I was not 100% satisfied, I asked for my money back. He took back the glasses, and instead of returning my money have just sent me a receipt for the glasses. This is 4 weeks after I had returned the glasses.

Incredibly helpful. Was passing - popped in - had a chat - had a huge amount of non fussy and non pushy help choosing - was given 'free' eye test - and within less than an hour I had ordered two news pairs of glasses. I usually find choosing glasses a huge pain - this experience was fun. Fingers crossed that when they arrive (special delivery / no charge - as was up in town on business), I'll put them on and they'll be spot on. Thanks very much.

Warning: There is no such thing as a "free eye test." I needed a new prescription and contacts ASAP so I went here and the only positive was that I could make an appointment for the same day. The exam room (downstairs) was not very clean and the staff were quite rude and awkward. There was a sign on the door saying "free eye test" but I was still charged 70 for a "contacts trial." Absolute rip-off. Also, the staff were incredibly insistent I get daily contacts and were very condescending when I asked about 2 week/month contacts. They also refused to give me my Pupillary Distance since I wasn't buying frames from them. I would definitely not recommend.

Not very clean! Not very helpful! Very happy to take your cash! I needed an eye test so I could have an up to date prescription to buy a pair of glasses online, all of which I stated before I had the test. Then after the test he refused to give my Pupillary Distance, as I wasn't buying my glasses from them. Not very helpful at all when I had explained what I needed the eye test for. Thanks for that I definitely won't be back again.
