What is Low Vision? Low vision is reduced central and/or peripheral vision that cannot be improved by normal spectacles, surgery or medication. It can affect a patient's ability and/or mobility to perform everyday tasks. What causes Low Vision? Low vision is caused by a variety of reasons. My family have used them twice over last few months as GP says to go opticians for eye infection/problem & this is local but i find they always upsell. The examination is meant to be free under NHS, but you still leave with at least a 30+ bill for extras they say you need from them.even though they give you separate NHS prescription. I asked pharmacist about eye product that was upsold to me & was told that it was not necessary for my purpose.
