I found the whole experience professional and friendly Dr Mathai is very relaxed and was reassuring throughout the procedure as I was fairly nervous. Elaine was helpful answering all my questions. I'm happy with the outcome no more glasses for me. Thank you!

I'd been thinking about laser eye surgery for a while and finally got the confidence to look into it. Visualase was recommended to me by a friend and it was recommended to her by 3 separate friends so I felt comfortable having a consultation with them. I had a consultation with another well known company previous to meeting with them and I can honestly say they were heads and shoulders above them.

Everyone you come into contact with are friendly and down to earth and have your best interest at heart. The receptionist is amazing (sorry I'm terrible with names). She makes you feel at ease and answered all my questions. From start to finish the service is amazing and I can't recommend them enough. The day after my eye surgery, I had my check up and I had eagle vision. I didn't know you could get that! Amazing staff, amazing procedure and amazing result. Thank you!

5* I had laser eye surgery nearly 10 years ago and still remember the day. Miracle from having glasses as a youngster, contact lenses after for many years, then seeing 20/20 vision the same day! Now turned 50 and my distance vision is still 20/20! Excellent service. Great Customer Service. Receptionist Elaine is Lovely! The process was brilliant from start to finish and they take the time to answer any questions you may have. Always easy to get in touch with them over the phone too.

I was quite scared but the nurses and Dr. Mathai made me feel at ease and I came out thinking, wow that wasnt bad at all. The procedure isnt painful at all, your eyes just feel uncomfortable after. I was amazed by the results. I had almost -7 in both eyes and 24hrs after the treatment I had 20/20 vision. Absolutely incredible. Thank you to everyone at Visualase and Cloughs!

Had laser eye surgery. I wish I had not. I suffer from night blindness. Halos. Double vision.and constant headaches in any form of brightness. Avoid these people

I walked in with severe pain after getting hot metal in my eye at work hoping to get a quick checkup and was told they couldn't even do a quick check up despite how much pain I am in. As a medical professional they had a duty of care to help me and because they wasn't making any profit they wouldn't even stand up to take a quick look and give advice on what to do. Really wouldn't recommend these people as I'm now stuck at work for the rest of the day with my eye burning and no medical advice even from professional.

Just had my laser eye surgery yesterday and would 100% recommend this company. Hilary and Elaine are lovely people and helped me feel at ease. The surgeon talked me through everything step by step which was very helpful when ur in strange surroundings. I was extremely nervous going in and thanks so much to the nurse that held my hand. Im not usually one for hand holding 😂 but due to nerves i cant tell you how much at ease it made me feel. Thanks to all the team it really does feel like a family run business

Had my laser surgery on Saturday morning 21/12/2019 really good experience, i’m very happy with the results, it’s a dream that has come true, Dr Mathai with his very calmly went through everything before the surgery and put me at ease, the nurses and i must menton Elaine, i felt very safe with everyone, I really recommend Visualase bolton, if you thinking of having your laser done then don’t wait any longer go for it at Visualase bolton. I did my laser eye surgery about 6 month ago at the Visualase Clinic in Bolton. It's the best decision I've ever made. I had a very bad sight (about -6 in each eyes). I had enough to kill my eyes with dirty contact lenses. I hated my glasses too. So I decided to do this surgery. I was absolutely terrified about doing this operation but at the end I am 100% satisfied. The fact to be able to see without nothing was impossible as my sight was low but now its real. A hudge thanks to Dr. Doyle and to all his team!

After contemplating it for years I finally had my laser treatment on my eyes. I had a couple consultations before hand with Dr Mathai to make sure everything was ok. He made me feel at ease and explained the process. Treatment was painless and very quick. The following day I woke up and able to see perfect. A recent follow up check showed I had better than 20/20 vision.

I must mention Hilary and Elaine who always take time to chat to you, offer drinks and make you feel at ease. Unlike the larger companies you are not just a number. I can now climb mountains in the Lakes without getting rain in my glasses. Many thanks.

I could not recommend the team at Visualase highly enough. I was very nervous about the treatment, because I am not keen on having anything anywhere near my eyes - to the extent I've never been a able to wear contact lenses! However, they made me feel completely at ease prior to treatment, on the actual day and during the follow up appointments. Absolutely fantastic service. I no longer wear glasses and am so thankful to Visualase for being so patient with me as a nervous patient!

From start to finish I was treated by everyone with respect and compassion. Dr Doyle is a caring and informative man who is clearly passionate about his work. This instils great confidence in what is about to happen. Elaine and Hilary are so welcoming and make you feel that nothing is too much trouble. This was not my first visit to Visualase and if they can ever help me again in the future, I would not hesitate to go back, the results are amazing! I would recommend, and have done so, anyone to have the treatment.

10 months ago had Lasek correction surgery. Painless procedure which only takes a few minutes. Thanks to all at the Bolton Visualase team for the excellent care received from pre and post surgery. Would highly recommend Visualase to anyone wishing to have laser eye surgery. My Consultant was Dr Stephen Doyle. Best decision i have ever made in having correction eye surgery, NO More Glasses!. I highly recommend Visualase Bolton. I had my surgery done on 30th May 2015. I thought I couldn't have it done as I had a high prescription but I enquired anyway. It turned out that I could have my eyes made better than they were. I still need to wear glasses but I can now see much better than I could before without my glasses! I was rather nervous on the day of my surgery as you would be.

The surgeon explained what was going to happen before I went in to have it done. This was a great help as I knew what to expect. It was quick and not as bad as I thought it was going to be. I recommend having it done to anyone. Everyone is very friendly and you get treated like a member of the family. I'd say go for it if you are thinking of having it done. You've nothing to lose as the consultation is free! :o

After having my eyes lasered at the visualase clinic, I was left with severe flap wrinkles and high order abberrations. The clinic agreed to pay for my eyes to be corrected elsewhere when I went to see them in person, but when I got home they denied the conversation took place and I have been fighting them ever since. I have ended up going to the Centre for Sight to get help and having to pay for my corrective procedures myself.

Mr Sheraz Daya has been wonderful and very supportive of how Visualase have abandoned me. The GMC described Stephen Doyle as being negligent. Please avoid this clinic at all costs.
