Such a pleasure to deal with Mark at Bowden's Optician's who I found quite by chance on searching the internet. I was sceptical about buying on online but was reassured by Mark's professionalism. He provided my glasses, complete with varifocal transition lenses at half the price of other opticians. Fast friendly efficient service. Can't recommend highly enough. Will definitely use again.

Highly recommended. This is the second Opticians I purchased glasses from since I came to UK. This one was referred by my friend. I had some problem with my new glasses. But Mark was so willing to offer help. He really did a miracle and helped me fix it. I thought it was because he is an experienced optician and is very professional in this field. Absolutley amazing service. Mark has been brilliant in helping me. Also got my eye test re done aswell for free. I was given a price for some frames which was a ridiculous amount to pay for a pair of frame and lenses from a high street opticians. I'm glad I came across Bowden opticians Mark was very professional and helpful. Also offering the piece of mind of if not happy with the frames and options available.

After having my eye test done by Mark. found out my prescription did not need to be that strong. Which is what the high street has prescribed. Not only that but from the time of ordering the delivery service has been amazing. Anyone wanting designer frames at a reasonable price and if you are wanting tints or transitional lenses the prices you cannot beat at all and the service is A1 class. Thank you Mark. I have already recommended you to friends and colleague's.

I found the frames that I liked at such a reasonable price on this website. Ordering was easy and Mark replied straight away to confirm my order and prescription details. Such excellent online service from Mark and Bowden Opticians. Responded personally to my order and queries straight away and provided a free upgrade in lenses just because it would suit the frame better! The price was great too - 85 for everything including postage. The same would have cost over 200 in another optician's I visited. Highly recommended.

I found Mark Bowden by an internet search for the glasses frames I wanted (Stetson). I then telephoned (no wait, no listening to options) to ask if my chosen frames could be glazed to a new varifocal prescription and my existing glasses re-glazed as sunglasses to the same prescription. All this was done at a price significantly less than half the sum a high street optician wanted to charge for the same service - and in less than half the time. In addition, Mark was a pleasure to deal with and kept me informed at all stages. First class in every department. Cannot recommend highly enough.

Mark is fantastic! I broke the frames on my favourite glasses and searched everywhere for a replacement. Following hours and hours of searching - Bowden's was the only place that still did this particular frame. After speaking to Mark on a sunday evening he contacted the factory and reserved the only pair they had left. He even gave me advice on replacing the lenses once the frames arrive - a real lifesaver and a gentleman, will use again.

Bowden's sorted me out a pair of Anglo American glasses with prescription lens at a brilliant price. But more than that was the service, it was so easy, accurate and friendly. A real pleasure.

Well, I now have a new Optical supplier! This guy can save you a conservative 60-70% on High St opticians' prices. All you need is a) an Eye Test prescription - Don't worry, you'll soon recoup the 25 Specsavers might want to charge you - and b) your favourite glasses' Frame size, in my case 53-17-145. If Mark sees you searching on his site, he will likely step on through his Chat function to offer his excellent personal service, and intimate knowledge of his frames.

Hi I usually do not write reviews for anything but i thought i would this time round, Bowden Opticians online have been brilliant the customer service was brilliant and Mark has been very helpful, I would recommend there services, at first i wasn't to sure about some of the websites online but happy I made a judgement call and placed my order, with them, the glasses i ordered look fantastic i would highly recommend them. Top marks for customer service and turn around time. i would definitely place another order.
