I started this practice in 1987. It was a family business - I was the optometrist and my wife, Louise, was the receptionist. From the beginning we wanted to offer a very high level of personal service. The practice has grown over the 30+ years. Helping me now are three receptionists - Angela, Fiona and Liz; Gary - a qualified dispensing optician; and Ruth - another optometrist. All of us put personal service as a priority. We are a community practice - helping people from pre-school children to the over 90s!

Aged 60 or over from age 60-70 it is one test every 24 months and over 70 it is one test every 12 months. 40 or over with a first degree relative with glaucoma, or you have been advised by an ophthalmologist that you are at risk of glaucoma. People named on an NHS certificate for partial help with health costs (HC3) might also get help.
We fit many different types of contact lenses - from one-day disposables through to continuous wear lenses, as well as varifocal lenses. Firstly, book an appointment for a normal sight test (normal charges apply). We then book you a free - no obligation - contact lens trial. After you have worn the lenses, we discuss your suitability for wearing lenses and show you the vision you will get with them. We will tell you the costs involved - it's then your decision!

My FRIEND AT 78 YEARS WHO IS ON PENSIONS AND BECAUSE HE COULD NOT GET IN TO TOWN TO GET THE OPTION HE LIVES IN WISBEY, AND HAD TO PAY HE TOLD THEM WOULD BENEFITS HE WAS ON, I CAN NOT BELIEVE HE HAD TO PAY 244,44p he was Ripped off because he went on his own Not Advice you or anyone to Use FOSTER ROY UNLESS YOU HAVE PLENTY OF MONEY MY ADVICE GO TO POUND SHOP YOU WILL GET SAME AS FOSTER ROY THANK YOU FOR RIPING MY FRIEND OF 244,44p I want to Let People Know this Options is Very Very Expensive and you can Go any waer in Bradford for Classes as I just Wish I had gone with my Friend of 78 who had to 244,44p
