Biography Sam has been with the practice since 2011 and was promoted to practice manager in 2018 after. Biography Deborah joined the practice in 2008 straight from Bradford University after gaining a 2:1 degree in optometry. Biography Alex was originally employed in 2005 as our 'Saturday' girl whilst still in full time education.
An OCT (Ocular Coherence Tomographer) scan is a highly advanced piece of equipment used to give our Optometrists an in-depth view of the layers at the back of the eye not seen with any other procedure in practice. It assists in the early diagnosis of conditions that might otherwise be undetected until symptoms become more obvious, often at a much later stage.

My kids get their glasses there but no way I would change my business to here. This is purely driven by my most recent interaction where by I simply enquired about having my glasses adjusted there. The immediate response was that they would not be liable for any breakage and when I asked does the lady break many her response was that she's worked there for seven years and she's broken loads!
How do you expect to win new business if you have that sort of customer response and experience? It is generally taken that glasses bought elsewhere may not be covered for breakage but then there's a better way to communicate this message, there also other options that a business could implement whereby they give options on paid for services etc. But it seems to me that many people who work in these small businesses need better training not only to improve the quality of the service given but also for the survival of local businesses.
