Since opening our doors in 2002 we have gained a reputation providing top quality eyecare and eyewear. We use state of the art technology whilst retaining traditional friendly customer service values and genuinely care about what we do. We are an independent practice in the heart of Leyland run by Optometrist Salina Mian BSc (Hons) MCOptom and Dispensing Optician Adrian Halsall FBDO Hons LVA.

At Eyesentials we have always invested in the very latest technology to help us identify sight threatening conditions as early as possible. In 2004 we got a retinal camera allowing us to view photographs of the retina in great detail. Optical technology continues to move forward and in 2011 we got our first retinal scanner (OCT) and 2021 we have the addition of Optomap.

Outstanding service combined with a forensic diagnosis. I can recommend Eyesentials with the utmost confidence and without reservation. Why go downmarket when 'eye care' is so critical to our health? I had an appointment recently after two years of Covid. The service remains exceptional and the staff imbue confidence with their robust hygiene standards and the quality of their impeccable clinical diagnosis.

Myself and my family (two sons) had been clients here for a number of years. Today after dealing with Kath who was rude and unhelpful I've requested all of our latest prescriptions are handed over so we can go somewhere else. Shame really because they were a nice bunch of people although very expensive. we have spent a small fortune over the years with glasses and lenses. be aware there are much cheaper for the same frames up the road.

Following recent visits to Eyesentials Opticians my review ticks all the boxes for poor service and customer satisfaction. Assuming all customers are valued the current staff would benefit from revising their communication skills on how to address valued patrons/customers. I found it distasteful on every level that the staff assumed my attire dictated I was not worthy of owning a nice pair of glasses.
Overall it is quite damning when staff apportion blame to the manufacturer for the appalling adjustment fitting service following a repair. I will not visit this Opticians again.

Five star service! The staff are extremely friendly and spent the time explaining the details of my prescription. Unlike the bigger chain opticians, they really helped me when choosing new frames which suited me. In the past, I have found eye tests and purchasing frames stressful, however this was not the case here. Everyone was really helpful and even made my toddler feel welcome and comfortable. I would definitely recommend Eyesentials. Thank you- I look forward to seeing you all again.

I would definitely not recommend taking sunglasses here to be fixed. Today I took my lipsy sunglasses in as the screw had dropped out of the side of them. So I went in and asked if there was a possibility they could screw it back In for me and the lady on the counter said she would do it for me. So she went away came back and cleaned then up for. me.
She said that she had tightened all the screws as they all seemed abit loose. I then left and as I got outside the door I noticed that she had screwed them in that tight that she had smashed all the glass on the front of them, so I turned around and went back in and said you have broke all the glass. She took them of me looked at them and said " OH SORRY THERE IS NOTHING I CAN DO ABOUT THAT" I said you have broken all the glass and she said there's nothing I can do. So I just left because I could feel myself getting so mad. So now I'm 30 down and no sunglasses! I'm absolutely fuming!

The best in service and advice, I had a great experience when I went to purchase new glasses, I wasn't sure what was best of me as I needed ones for reading, working at my computer and distance. Adrian and the staff offered me brilliant, sound and considered advice and then helped me choose just the right frames to suit my face. Thank you for your help, I am thrilled with my new glasses. Would recommend!
