The Salisbury practice opened on the 27th November 1995, the design of which was inspired by Rennie Mackintosh. Salisbury branch quickly established itself as one of the areas most dynamic opticians, attracting clients from all over the south. The Amesbury branch was opened in 1982 and moved to its current site in 1993.

A co-founding partner and Optometrist, Sue studied in Cardiff at the University of Wales Institute of Science and Technology. Sue who lives near Malmesbury, has a background steeped in horse racing; she married a jockey and her brother-in-law is a jockey and trainer. When Sue is not working in practice she loves playing the piano and spending time with her young grandchildren.
