Would much rather go to and support a local, highly competent Optician, than go to somewhere like Specsavers, who are pretty useless tbh. I stopped going there a few years ago and have been going to A B Optics ever since. Thorough eye test, friendly and helpful staff, covid secure and excellent communication. Would highly recommend.

Got me me in straight away when everywhere else had a long waiting time of up to six weeks Optician was pleasant and professional, talking me through every step of the test, and took her time to get my prescription correct. Thanks for the excellent service.

This was my first visit. I needed to replace my contact lenses. My previous optician refused to pass information on about my eyes so they had to start from nothing. This was all done very well. The first pair did not work well. They were very patient and reviewed the specification. A second set was obtained. These have worked extremely well. It is now 4 months since I had them and I am very pleased with them.
