Call
Vision Call (Midlands) At Visioncall we believe that regardless of a person's age or needs they have the right to better sight. We are dedicated to enabling and empowering individuals to see the world around them more clearly. Our patients are some of the most vulnerable people in our society, and our specialist holistic approach to eye care means that they can benefit from being more engaged with the world around them, feel less isolated and be safer within it. As part of our eye care service we take the time to learn more about each person and find out more about them before making any recommendations.
Services
This is the mission that drives our team to deliver a person-centred eye care service across the UK. Since 1994, we have been a leading eye care provider to the UK care home sector, delivering home sight tests to those unable to visit a high street optician. Research indicates that more than 50% of elderly people living in care homes are living with some form of sight loss.
When we say that our mission is to help others to see better and live better, we really mean it, so we have developed a range of tools to help make this a reality at home every day. Visioncall have created an innovative eye care planning system to assist care staff and family members to better understand the visual needs and capabilities of the individual.
Does your care home have residents that wear glasses or live with age related conditions such as dementia? We have the expertise to support your residents and train your staff too. Are you worried that their tendency to trip, drop items or knock into things has increased? It could be due to deteriorating eyesight.
Selecting Visioncall as your optometrist means that you will get much more than a home visiting sight test. We will provide you and your home with a range of partnership benefits to help facilitate better eye care standards in the home and to support care staff. Visioncall are committed to helping our partners in making eye care a routine part of their day.

Used to be good but very bad now. been trying for 1.5 years to get a DATE for a home visit in our Nursing home and every time we talk with them, " your details have been given to the booking department, and they will get in touch" it.s been a year and half and we don.t even have a date for a home visit. not even a date. so we can at least tell the families as they.ve been asking us to sort something out We have been told that it.s been escalated to the manager. but nothing changed. such a shame.

I understand that you are busy because of covid. but at least would be nice to have a date. even if it is in another few months. at least we would have something to tell the residents and their families
