At Sarah Dineen Opticians you can expect more than just a sight test. Our qualified optometrists will carry out a thorough examination of your eyes using the latest in optical technology. Your eye test will last approximately 30 minutes. Your appointment with us will not be rushed and we take our time to ensure that your eye test is as accurate as possible.

Orthokeratology - also known as Ortho K - is a vision correction therapy developed to improve your eyesight whilst you sleep so you can enjoy a life without lenses during the day. The lens gently and painlessly reshapes your cornea whilst you sleep, providing you with clear, comfortable vision without having to wear your glasses or contact lenses during the day.

Sarah Dineen is the only optician I trust with my sons complex eye needs. Sarah and her team are true professionals with the highest standards of care and service. It's a 85 mile round trip with my son to come to see Sarah in Hadfield but her detailed specialist knowledge of my sons needs requires her skill and talent. She offers a huge range of glasses with fantastic children's frames too, which my son loves without looking too childish!

I have been going to Sarah Dineen with my children and for myself for the last 21 years. I have always received fantastic service. This is an independent optician which offers, quick efficient, professional, help and advice. You feel that they are there to help, and look after your eyes, not just to sell glasses. I have used Sarah Dineen opticians three times now and each time the experience has been excellent. All of the staff are wonderfully friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. Although a small shop they have an excellent selection of glasses available and you are never pressured to pick something you don't want. They also have some great new styles of glasses I haven't seen anywhere before! Would definitely recommend them if you are looking for an optician.

Great service, great staff, an absolute pleasure to visit. A good selection of frames combined with an encyclopaedic knowledge of lens options. I have had prescription sunglasses, everyday varyfocals and even specially formulated varyfocals for occupational use. After years being caught up in the spectacle superstores it wasn't until I started using Sarah Dineen that I finally got glasses that worked for me

Absolutely amazing. Loved every bit of my experience. The staff were super friendly and didn't make me feel rushed, they were honest about what suited me and never tried to push glasses on me although they did let me try a very wide range on (which I was really happy about) My son also had glasses fitted and they were so patient with him. would highly recommend to anyone!

A 1st class service as usual. Buying my glasses was a pleasure, having a good choice and excellent advice as to what suits and what fits correctly, made it a pleasant experience knowing I wasn't just being fobbed off with any old pair. I have been a customer of Sarah Dineen since she opened this practice Excellent Optician who know her profession inside out. Choice of frames is First class and they are reasonably priced. Customer service is the absolute best I have ever had. Nothing is too much trouble for Sara h and her team. Have recommended Sarah many times to both family and friends, all very happy too.

I was prescribed glasses for the first time two years ago, and desperately needed my eyes tested again as I was struggling. I decided to try Sarah Dineen as I also wanted to support a local business. Team were helpful, friendly, patient and knowledgeable. Eye test was great, thorough and I was able to discuss what would be the best option to fulfil my personal needs without feeling pressured or rushed.
Ordered glasses and they were back in the shop within four days. Collected today, and again team were friendly and helpful and I walked away feeling really pleased. It’s such a big decision choosing glasses! Team were actively cleaning after each person visited the shop, and it was appointment only so felt COVID safe.

I have been coming to Sarah for many years, as have my children, and always have amazing service. The staff are always very friendly and knowledgeable, and very honest about the look of frames when you are choosing them. Sarah is by far the best opticians I've belonged to, her service is personal and highly professional. Her customer care is evident during the appointment and also the speed in which you are seen. My wriggly toddler enjoyed his first visit and will no doubt enjoy his next one. When I was concerned about a possible eyesight issue, Sarah saw me without delay on the Minor Eye Scheme was extremely thorough and put my fears to rest within the visit.

What a wonderful service. My little girl was made to feel really comfortable and excited to be getting glasses. We received a really quick diagnosis from Sarah who was great with Skye and explained things brilliantly to me. All the staff were really helpful and friendly, I highly recommend. Skye can't wait to pick up her beautiful new glasses next week
