Our staff will continue to wear facemasks and PPE during eye examinations and clinical procedures, and we strongly recommend that our patients wear facemasks wherever possible. There will be cleaning and disinfection procedures implemented in all areas of the practice. We will continue to have pre-booked appointments, but we will not have a locked front-door policy.
Our practice has built up a good traditional reputation over the years, but we are not at all "old fashioned". Our fully trained professional staff use some of the latest technology and techniques available, including digital retinal photography and the Seiko video centration system.

I've been coming here for years, having been recommended by a friend. Staff are always pleasant and I have absolute confidence in Mr. Akbar. He "picked up" a problem which needed treatment over several years at the Royal Manchester Eye Hospital. Consultations are always unhurried and thorough with up-to-date equipment.

This is the best opticians I have attended. The care and facilities are excellent. The optician is painstaking in both extensive examinations and explanation. The range of frames doesn't seem to be extensive at first sight but the selection is much better than larger opticians. Also, the person who assists with choice of frames is very skilled at analysing face shapes and colouring.
