Stay in touch with clients and let them know if there are problems. I have waited 4 weeks for my new glasses and had to phone store to ask what was happening. Still waiting to hear that my glasses have arrived in store and now do not believe the reason I was given. Do not tell the clients anything to get them off the phone.

Lovely team in Union Street branch. First eye exam after cataract ops in both eyes and their Covid safe process was great. I opted for varifocal lenses, which took a wee bit of getting used to, but I love them now. On my collection appointment they made sure my frames fitted perfectly on my head.

Have been a patient at the Coatbridge opticians, James Hughes for a number of years before it was recently taken over and I can honestly say it’s the best. I saw Laura today for my eye test and she was absolutely fantastic. I had to bring my 11 month old along who was pretty uninterested in what was going on & a bit of a grump, but Laura was amazing & completely understanding which took a lot of pressure off of myself.
I didn’t get the gentleman’s name who helped me pick out my new glasses - but he was also great. Friendly smiles from the minute you walked in with all staff. A truly great experience!
