We have been supplying safety spectacles to local engineering companies and the offshore oil industry for over 25 years. Lenses can be supplied in single vision and multifocal form and are also available designed specifically for workstation use. These can also be supplied with as transition lenses (where lenses will darken when exposed to UV light).
1 in 2 people are unaware they have a sight stealing condition, which is why we are delighted to be able to offer Optical Coherence Tomography in our Inverurie practice. The SPECTRALIS 4D HD Eye Health Check, uses a patented eye-tracking system that produces 3-dimensional images of the eye, allowing us to more easily identify if you are at risk of eye disease.

Have been using HMD for well over a decade at either Inverurie or Peterhead depending on my own availability. Friendly and efficient, very professional service. Very competitively priced and provide an honest assessment of your optical needs - last time they even recommended my existing spectacles were fine (never heard that from any of the national chains!). This time I had damaged the frame, so knew they needed replacing. Have always been very impressed by the service I have received. Highly recommended!

Very professional service. The staff i had dealings with were very welcoming and friendly, nothing too much trouble. Alan was very thorough and friendly, he explained everything. The lady helping me pick new glasses was very knowledgeable, I didn't feel under any pressure. Thanks for everything. Looking forward to getting new specs.
