I went in for my glasses to be tightened up - Addy was great and even went a step further to understand what the problem was with the glasses falling off, and managed to make them fit me better on top of tightening to screws! Thank you Addy

I popped into the York branch to get the arm.of my glasses straightened. It turned out that the hinge was damaged after I had bashed them. They spent ages between 2 of them trying to.fix the problem.until they managed it. Really excellent service, friendly and determined to fix it. Couldn't have asked for.more, and I'm.not even a customer. Outstanding.

The little screw in the frame of my glasses dropped. I went to two or three optical shops at York and was told that only the glasses with their brand could be fixed. I happened to enter OpticalExpress and told my trouble. Addy was very helpful and she fixed the problem without charging any fee. I was impressed by her smile and warm help. The other two staff in the shop were very friendly, too. Sometimes minor problems are very annoying. Addy made me feel better. Thanks.

Visited the parliament Street branch in York today for an eye test. Superb professional service from both the optician and the lady who fitted me for some glasses. Both really lovely people too. Would definitely recommend.

After sitting on my specs and putting the frame out of alignment. I called in Optical Express in Parliament to see if they could sort them for me. A bright and cheery young woman popped up from behind the screen and offered her assistance. After explaining my problem, the young lady - Jasmine - asked me to call back in 10 minutes. 10 minutes later the specs were handed back to me straight and sparkly clean. - Excellent customer service at no cost. Well done Optical Express in York for employing Jasmine, a good move

My experience was great. All of the staff were very welcoming, polite and knowledgeable. The shop is spacious with a huge array of designer frames, and I always find exactly what I want. We were able to have one of our eye tests early, as they were initially 2 hours apart, another bonus! The eye test was very thorough and the girl explained everything. Will definitely be back!
