The Petticrew family have been looking after eyes in Northern Ireland since 1887 - one of the longest established family practices in the UK. Andrew says, It is something a bit special for me, to have the opportunity to practice the uncompromising way I feel it should be done, in a family business which was started by my great-grandad. I am the luckiest man in the world.I jump out of bed in the morning and look forward to my work! Tragic really, isn't it. Firstly i usually do not do Facebook recommendations however I feel i have to on this occasionally. I can not reccomend Andrew enough. Having had Keratoconus for 13 to 14 years I always thought the options were only graft or RGP's. Being quite anxious on arrival Andrew was able to explain to me what was going to happen and calmed me down. Andrew gave me one of the best eye examinations I feel as have had in quite a while and explained all the options available to myself. I can not recommend him and all the staff highly enough and would encourage anyone with Keratoconus to give him a visit.

Andrew and his staff where fantastic and super friendly, I went in with a sore swollen eye and got a same day emergency appointment! Was seen on time, he spent about 45 mins examining my eye. I had to go to eye casualty so Andrew phoned ahead to the hospital to let them know I was on my way and write a letter to the doctor that would be treating me.
Only because he phoned ahead I got saw in about 30 mins and got the problem resolved. Would recommend Petticrew Optometrists to anyone. Just a friendly professional service being treated by someone who clearly cares. Thanks
