Eye Tests Report

Using the latest optical technology, we carry out full forty-minute eye examinations, to assess your vision and screen for eye conditions such as Glaucoma, Cataract and Age-Related Macular Degeneration. All parts of the eye examination, screening and frame selection will be carried out by one of our qualified Optometrists.

Lenses Report

An integral part of your new glasses, your lenses should suit your lifestyle too. If you're going to be using your new glasses for sport or activities that are likely to scratch the lenses, we can recommend lens types that will withstand the toughest of impacts! Perfect for the office environment, where clear focus at more than one distance is required.

Contact Lenses Report

Disposable - soft lenses discarded after either a day or a month depending on the package you choose. Comfortable to wear with high water content. Nocturnal - this innovative new method corrects your vision temporarily while you sleep, negating the requirement for lenses or glasses during the day (Ortho-K).

Sunglasses Report

Sunglasses aren't just the perfect accessory to complete your outfit, they also protect your eyes from harmful UV rays in order to help prevent eye conditions, such as Age-Related Macular Degeneration and Cataract. This is something we tend to neglect in the UK with our weather being as it is. We stock a wide range of quality sunglasses to suit your taste and price range.

Harris Rundle is an excellent Optometrists the Staff were very helpful and friendly. The customer service was to a very high standard. They were able to re-glaze my antique Edwardian Pince-nez Eyeglasses with real glass lenses. Not every optometrist will do this service and I do appreciate it was an odd request but they done the job with no hesitation and we're able to advise me 🙂

"Harris Rundle opened his first practice in Belfast in 1905. Still a young man, he previously had outlets in the North of England. The business expanded over the following years, with branches opening as far afield as Cork, Dublin and Derry" Well with a little background into the HarrisRundle chain of opticians I will say that this is one of the better independent outlets across the city. I'm in the market at the moment for new eye people. I've been with the same chain since I was 15 and I felt maybe a look around at the competition couldn't hurt. Prices however higher - expect to pay at least 14 for month contacts and almost 30 for dailies (I've currently been switched to the latter because of a previous eye infection) Worth a go though.
