Eye 2 Eye

In previous years I have had excellent service from eye to eye. Unfortunately, today when I called to make an appointment I couldn't because the optician on a Saturday can only test your eyes using eye drops so you can't go if you drive. I am now having to find a new opticians. So sad as they have been so good.

Very professional, detailed and courteous. Received a follow up call a few days later saying my glasses were ready to be picked up. Overall very simple and efficient. Many thanks

Called in to Eye 2 Eye in July 2019 for an eye examination, and then to get a new set of glasses. I was greeted with a warm welcome from the staff, and the lady doing the exam put me at ease and was really clear in explaining what was going on. I was highly impressed with the range of glasses available, the knowledge of the team about what I needed and which of the extensive range would best meet my needs. In the end I chose the Oakley Pitchman - and I'm very pleased with them. I'd definitely recommend Eye 2 Eye, and will definitely get my next set from them when I need to.

Myself and my children have used Eye 2 Eye for our tests and glasses for over 4 years now and are very happy with the service. The staff are extremely professional, friendly and helpful and have always made the kids feel at ease. I've had 2 pairs of glasses from them, they are excellent quality and I was given a lot of help choosing them, trying on several pairs without feeling rushed or hurried. The staff at eye to eye are excellent, as soon as you enter you are made to feel comfortable and welcome. You are not pressurised to select glasses or hurried at all. I had a very thorough eye examination carried out in a professional manner and Steve helped to sort out the correct lenses I needed. Superb friendly service.

Excellent service for all our visits from initial inquiry about child's sports eyewear all the way to collecting the finished pair (earlier than expected!). Lisa at the counter was lovely with my kids, Matt was helpful and informative and Steve was everything we needed as our vision expert. Highly recommend Eye 2 Eye!

I am a semi-retired doctor and have used Eye2Eye on Telegraph Road, Heswall on a number of occasions over the last year or so both for repairs and an eye test. I have always found the staff very friendly and in particular Steve has gone out of his way on more than one occasion to sort my problem out. In fact on two occasions I have e-mailed him and sent my glasses by post and they were sent back to me by return fully repaired - which I think is outstanding.

I also had an eye-test in July 2016. I note the comment by a previous reviewer about the test room but this didn't even register with me as all I was interested in was having a good test. The optometrist actually found that one of my lenses was too strong and it had actually been so for years but all the previous opticians from other establishments had not found this.

In fact I had suspected this myself before attending and was delighted to have this confirmed. I live in Liverpool and there are many opticians in my locality but to me it is well worth the trip to Heswall if I need to attend the shop. I would certainly recommend this opticians to others on the basis of my experiences.

I was having problems getting the right contact lenses from other opticians. Mrs Gartshaw was extremely knowledgeable and helpful. She was very patient with me and I would recommend going to this opticians to anyone. Thank you to all the staff.

Really friendly staff who took time and actually seemed to care. Loved the fact they came honest opinion on frames and were patient with me. The optician was lovely, most through check up I've ever had. Local place and I like supporting independents around. I'd recommend to a friend

I go back here time and time again. Friendly service, good prices, and the staff are always keen to help. Having bought glasses elsewhere (I now live a long way from the Wirral), I popped in to see if these guys could sort out the fitting. They helped me out immediately and wouldn't accept payment. I've been here several times over the years and will definitely go back here next time I need a new pair - nowhere else has compared.

I've been to chain stores where you don't feel like the service is personalised, and I've been ripped off by small establishments. Eye 2 Eye are head and shoulders above anywhere I've been.
