A qualified Optometrist, it's Amar you'll see if you need your eyes examining.And with 30 years' experience under his belt, he knows his stuff. Over the year he's honed his skills and developed his interest in eye care ophthalmology, contact lenses, refractive surgery and sports vision.

Amar offers a professional, down to earth and friendly service. I felt he had great integrity and a genuine enthusiasm for what he does. He listened well and really took the time to get to the bottom of what was a problem for me. He also has a great team of people working with him. By far the best experience I've had at an opticians in over 35 years.

I have had keratoconus in one eye for most of my adult life and after seeing numerous opticians in hospitals and also the private sector with little success, often finding myself educating the professionals on keratoconus as they clearly were just making it up I finally was introduced to Amar and his company. He was reassuring and knowledgeable but I was initially very doubtful however I soon realised I was in good hands, Amar had to see me a few times and explained everything on each visit, reassuring myself along the way.
I now have perfect vision in my eye, during the day and at night, I honestly couldn't recommend Amar and his team more, professional, affective and determined to give his customers good results, thank you Amar

I was amazed by Amar. Why? [1] Obvious from conversation that he knows his subject inside out. He has a PhD, no less, you are talking to a highly educated man who is still interested in his speciality. [2] Quality of equipment - he has test equipment of a higher standard than other opticians. In my case he provided a diagnosis which was unsettling but essential for me to have, and gave me time to discuss his conclusion, all within the usual NHS system. You can go to the ordinary High Street guys, or you can go to a real specialist. That's Amar.
