I have had a very painful eye condition over Christmas and I have been treated with kindness and care beyond measure. This opticians have gone above and beyond to look after me when I am sure they would rather have been doing other things and even when they should officially have been closed. I am very grateful for their skill and clinical ability, which was fantastic but I am especially grateful for their kindness and care going the extra mile and then some when it would have been so much easier not to have. Thank you so much for your help. I had an issue with my latest prescription that was too heavy on reading versus computer screen needs. I rang and asked for some help and quite frankly was blown away with the customer service and helpfulness I received! Used Aucklands since 2002. Before that used Specsavers who are cheaper, but you get what you pay for and with Auckland the service is very good, they're friendly, and when they've done your eye test you feel confident they will have missed nothing as they take the time needed to do it properly. Any necessary repairs/adjustments are usually done immediately and the choice of frames etc is very good. Overall can't fault them.

I have regular checks as I have glaucoma, but treatment and regular eye checks maintain 'normal vision'. I was due my annual eye chuck late March, cancelled due to Covid 19. However, I was among first appointments when they reopened and had a very thorough, reassuring check from Deborah G and her colleagues. My vision had changed, but My new lenses have restored sight to normal. Eye pressure was well within normal, again reassuring! I can read the questions on the 'Chase' again now. Thank you Deborah x
