I had an appointment for eye check up today at Rotherham college St branch.
Although the initial meet and greet and pre checks before seeing the option was good. The optician how ever was not welcoming, informative or indeed pleasant.He appread asian with curley and wearing a mask he never gave his name. I felt rushed

I've been there a bit more than a week ago for my eyetest and for making new grasses prescription. The lady doctor was extremely nice and helpful- 5 stars for her job. I bought new glasses there and a week later received them ready and the guy said I can come back within 3 month if something will not be okay with glasses. Today I came back as I feel that the glasses is not okay for me and my eyes feel overstrained after wearing them for a while.
When I came I described the situation to the guy on reception and I received a very rude attitude back! I've never faced that a rude service in any opticians before! He was arguing with me that it is all okay with my glasses without even checking them or at least transferring me to another specialist who can help me! He was keep arguing with me in front of other customers and staff saying sorry to a lady in the queue!
I was totally disappointed and shocked of such disrespectful service. What the point to be so warm welcomed to your customers initially and inform that during 3 month they can come back if any problems with glasses will appear and just after few days to give them such a rude response?

I have a contact lenses subscription with specsavers so I should be entitled to 50% off glasses. They had to ring a central office (whixh took almost 30 minutes) to check I have the subscription and even then refused to give me the discount unless I agree to transfer the subscription to them. They then told me some lies about not being able to update my eye tests results centrally if my subscription was not with their store, which made no sense. Also this store has limited choice of glasses, and it is full of disgruntled customers. No surprise given their awful customer service and business practice.

A very unpleasant experience of trying to get a prescription for contact lenses. They got the time of my appointment wrong (even though I had it on my confirmation email), I was asked to wait for 1.5 hours due to overbooking. Then, I was told I need to pay for an eye test even though I had the measurements with me from December. I was told I only need to wait a few days for my contact lens trial, however it's now been 2 weeks and not only I wasn't contacted, I never got a reply to the emails I sent asking about my contact lens trial either. I wish there were a way to get my money back.

I've had glasses from Specsavers last year and have been very happy with them but I needed a second pair so I went again to kilburn branch. I was seen by Dani who was so helpful, attentive and patient. She helped me choose glasses that suited my face. Not a very easy task as I'm very fussy but she was extremely honest and helpful and I chose a pair which I was very happy. 5 star service. Thank you.

Amazing staff! Leticia, Dani, Aruna - they spent so much time carefully working with us to make sure the choices we were making suit us style wise and cost effectively. I have been in on a few different occasions for my daughters and I - from assessment through to purchase I have been treated with such patience and such consideration that I highly recommend this branch.

I was quite skeptical about Specsavers due to a friend having a negative experience a while ago but no other opticians had the glasses I wanted so took a chance and I'm glad I did! I last had an eye test at Specsavers in a different country and they were able to access my file from those visits which was great. Really friendly staff, eye test and assesment was super straightforward and quick. Collected my glasses a week later. Happy with the service!

Got a letter twice for an overdue contact lens eye health check after I first purchased them in June and then booked the health check to then receive a call from the store saying I wouldn't be entitled to the free health check as they are only every three years. firstly if the store sends out wrong letters than I as a customer shouldn't be paying for their mistakes, secondly waiting three years to see if the contact lenses are suitable for my eyes and to check if there aren't any problems is unreasonable since in three years a lot can happen to the eyes and how they are with the lenses. thirdly, even after my second complaint they don't seem to bother to get back to me, so I will change store eventually. Really bad customer relations and services.
