Eden Eyecare - Dry Eye Clinic

First class. I doubt you'd get a more thorough eye test anywhere else on the high street. I really struggle to wear glasses for long periods of time as they always end up hurting. But Zoe has managed find me the most amazingly light frames that I can now wear all day without really knowing I'm wearing them - and unlike some of the brands you see advertised as super light, I didn't need a second mortgage to buy them. Really happy.

I can't thank Zoe, Iain and the team enough for their kindness and efficient service they gave to my daughter. Her glasses broke just days before her friends wedding and Eden Eyecare, which is a small independent business, went out of their way to help her and provide her with a brand new pair of glasses within days!

Ian, Zoe and team provided the best service that I have ever experienced. I have used many of the high street opticians during my life, but they have never been able to provide me with a solution for my three key requirements. Driving, reading and VDU computer work. Usually the other opticians provide glasses that cover two of my requirements and another pair for the VDU. Ian explained his prescription that included the VDU requirement and Zoe managed to select excellent frames that suit my face.

They new glasses even work as sunglasses when driving. My work requires an exceedingly long period of computer work and a commute, which means that the VDU computer work and driving are my priorities. This is the first time that I have ever been able to use one pair of glasses. Usually I have to repeatedly change glasses multiple times a day which increases the risk of damage and loss. 6 star rating to Eden Eyecare

I am forever grateful to the team at Eden Eye Care for their skills and knowledge about new technologies. Both my teenagers were affected by rapidly increasing short sightedness. The team recommend Miosmart glasses and contact lenses to try and slow the decline. 2 years on their prescriptions are the same/no change to lenses. The Miosmart is amazing technology which hopefully will stop them becoming very shortsighted. I cannot say how grateful I am to the team for protecting their sight, and how lovely the whole team is to deal with. I cannot recommend this practice highly enough.

Our first time at Eden Eye Care and the service is fantastic. From first being welcomed, then complimentary hot drinks, highly skilled optometrist and what a choice of glasses presented and looked after by Zoe. My wife had some amazing frames and as to go with her unusual and differing sight in either eye they were ordered from Spain. Myself I have had varifocals for the past 20yrs and I had an idea to ditch these and just go with spectacles for long (driving) vision as working on a laptop all day without glasses.

So me having chosen some similar frames both our frames were ordered. About a week later we got a call from Eden to say our glasses we ready. My wife's glasses were perfect, but sadly mine were not right (I should've stayed with Varifocals) so Zoe said that isn't a problem as Eden have a no quibble 60days "change your glasses". so varifocals were needed for me.

Just about a week last my correct spectacles were ready. I can now see much better. As I said earlier, the service at Eden Eye Care is absolutely brilliant. Thank you so much Zoe

In the past, I had never got away with varifocal glasses and always reverted to buying two different pairs. However, Zoe and the team spent a lot of time discussing what I required from my glasses and came up with a Varifocal solution. Initially I was unsure whether to try again, but Zoe assured me things had moved on in technology since last time I tried them. I’m glad I listened because they are brilliant. I’m wearing them more, can see more and they are just perfect. Thank you so much.

This is the best Opticians I've ever been too. The staff are very helpful and efficient and friendly. Then to Ian! He is the best there is. I would not go anywhere else. He always explains everything. His knowledge and equipment are second to none. Thank you for always doing a wonderful job

Glad we rang you first rather than the Doctors. You have fantastic staff, service and setup which we always recommend to all.

First visit to Edeneyecare, excellent service from entering. Best eye test, fully informed and all concerns explained and any worries elleviated. I am very happy with my choice of frames and appreciate all the time and advice given to choose the correct style.

Really pleased with my glasses, both regular and special offer on a second pair, which I had made into sunglasses. The design guidance was excellent and they look really good they have gone to extra mile to supply them during the current Covid situation- thank you Zoe

Just took my 86yr old mother who has Alzheimer's into Eden Eye care...
She'd just been to the eye clinic at Carlisle Infirmary for a consultation for Branch Retinal Vein Occlusion.
Ian assessed this treatment including Dry Eyes, Cataracts etc oh and her requirement for new lenses.
I don't normally bother with sending reviews unless the quality of service and technical expertise is exceptional... and it was.
We were seen by Ellie and Ian... both were brilliant and Ellie adjusted my glasses to boot.
Ann was reassured and is now looking forward to some new lenses.
