We have access to our own off-site large manufacturing laboratory, allowing us to supply varifocals, bifocals, and even high prescription single vision lenses with a very quick turnaround time. We have our own range of frames ensuring exclusivity, as well as stocking a range of Designer brands.

Your Eye Examination
Report
Regular eye examinations are important not only to ensure clear and comfortable vision, but as a health check too. The optometrist will check for eye-related conditions such as macular degeneration and glaucoma. Other conditions such as high blood pressure and diabetes can also be detected. The optometrist will discuss a few different things with you, ask about your lifestyle, medications, general health and if you’ve noticed any changes in your vision. They will then use a series of diagnostic tests to asses your vision and the health of your eye.

There are many different types of contact lenses to choose from. As part of the fitting process, our Optometrist will assist you in finding a lens that is suitable for your prescription and lifestyle needs
Daily Disposable lenses; start from £22 for a months supply. These give you the ultimate flexibility, as you wear them for a day then throw them away.
Two-weekly lenses; start from £18 for a month’s supply (including solutions) . You can wear them everyday, removing them at night to clean and store, for up to two weeks.
Monthly disposable lenses; start from £13 for a month’s supply (including solutions) . If you plan on wearing them everyday, these lenses can work out the most cost effective. You can wear them everyday, removing them at night to clean and store, for up to one month.
Multifocal/Varifocal contact lenses; lenses designed to cope with the need for age-related vision changes, which leads to the need for different prescriptions for different things. These lenses are available both in monthly (Starting at £23 per month) and daily (starting at £38 per month) options.

I've been using this optician since I was 4 or 5 and can honestly say that I wouldn't trust my eyes 100% with anyone else. The staff are excellent and can't do enough to help, you always get a friendly welcome and good advice when choosing lenses. Bob will be missed tremendously, but our family wish him all the best in his very well deserved retirement!

A long, healthy retirement Bob. Met Sylvia today, the new optician. Boy, did I have an examination and a half! Must admit I don't like change but think Sylvia and I will have a good working relationship in the future. Will miss you Bob but you have left the practice in good hands. Brilliant service and feel very welcome and can have a good talk while waiting to see Robert. During eye test etc never feel rushed and get a thorough tests. Also never felt rushed when picking what type of glasses if would like. (My first ever pair of glasses) best opticians in Grimsby highly recommend this place.

Excellent service and very thorough eye test. Never once felt rushed during eye test or when choosing which glasses I wanted. Was able to try on lots of different glasses until I found the ones I wanted. All staff were friendly, polite and I was made to feel very welcome. Would definitely recommend.

First visit with Robert Marshall with a child and the service was outstanding. the communication and calm manner and approach was amazing for a very nervous child. Highly recommend. and even the other staff was outstanding gave her sunglasses to easy the light on her eyes while waiting with the drops. so friendly and cant thank you enough for your Fabulous service. The personal service and care at Robert Marshall Opticians is second to none. The receptionists and staff work as a team to provide this. My husband has Motor Nueron Disease and is unable to communicate verbally now but they found the time and patience to answer any questions he might have via his Boogie Board .He had had a fall a few months ago the they could not repair his glasses but
