Optique Vision

I'm really disappointed. This shop was recommended to me by a few friends. The gentleman was really helpful and I told him I liked Ray Bans because they were polarised and I wanted polarised sunglasses. The Ray Bans didn't suit me so the gentleman picked out a pair that were Ted Baker that really suited me. He told me he would do me a good deal on them.

When I got home I found that they weren't polarised and when I searched for them online, I found the exact same pair for half the price I paid. I still like the sunglasses but feel deflated and a bit silly. The shop offers a fantastic, personal service, but I've been waiting years to treat myself to some "proper" sunglasses and I feel like I've just paid for the name on a mediocre pair of sunglasses now.

Lost a screw in my new Ray Ban frames and Optique was recommended to me by a friend. When I went in and told them of my issue I was told that I might have to order some, I had no idea on the variety of sizes of screws different manufacturers use, and it might be 7-10 days. But, they spent 5 minutes sorting through spares that they had and managed to find a suitable replacement all the while chatting away. Really friendly and incredibly helpful.

Very poor service. I was quoted three wildly different prices for contact lenses following a month's trial and when I asked for my prescription so I could go elsewhere the manager refused to give it to me.

Tried on every pair of glasses in vision express and could not find anything I liked. As soon as I walked into Optique vision a wonderful chap came over to me and instantly picked out a pair of glasses he thought would suit me and they were perfect. I love them! There was absolutely no pressure to buy them from him and I genuinely felt like he had all the time in the world for me. Such a lovely experience and will definitely be back in the summer for my sunglasses! :

Came here for a thorough, sought out second opinion after going back and forth to the doctors in regard to flashes and floaters. Staff were brilliant here. Spoke me through everything including the process and about my results. Definitely gave me the reassurance I needed about my vision at this given time. Walked in off the high Street to enquire about an eye test and was seen straight away. Very professional optician who explained everything clearly. Once it was established i required a prescription I was shown a wide selection of glasses to find a pair that suited myself. Thanks guys.

I have been a customer for 10 years and used opticians for 35. This is the best I have ever used. Rather than a rushed generic examination elsewhere the service here is exceptional - exacting, thorough and done with a real professionalism from those who take pride in their skill. I recommend it to everyone.

Saw sunglasses I liked at 165.00. I asked for a discount of 15 to take them to 150 (1.50 more than they are currently selling on their website via Amazon). I was advised I could have 10% discount but only if I left a review right there and then on Google. Instead I chose to buy the same glasses online 40 cheaper and provide an honest review without feeling obliged to leave good feedback stood there in the shop just to receive a discount.

Not quite paying for good reviews, but just about. My review is that optique vision is a good place to go try sunglasses on to see what looks good, but prices in the Lincoln branch are too high (higher than their own website) My advice to the owner of optique vision would be to lay off the pressure of leaving a review for discount in store- just give the discount along with good service and people will happily take the time to leave a good review if they choose. I wouldn't go back.

I had to buy my first pair of glasses & I had a brilliant experience! The staff were friendly & helpful & the selection of styles was amazing! I love my news glasses! Jag helped me & he made the whole experience just great. Highly recommended!

I have now bought my third pair of Ray-Ban sunglasses from Optique, the latest one was on back order for 6 weeks. The sunglasses arrived bang on time and the staff kept me informed at every stage of the delivery. An impeccable service and the range is amazing. I think I deserve a fourth pair of sunglasses and there's only one place I'm going to get them from.

Adam was really helpful when I went in to the Nottingham shop 13 Sept 2016. I explained that my original Maui Jim glasses (purchased in 2001) were a little worn & the coating was starting to come off the lenses. He tried to see if the lenses could be replaced but unfortunately due to the age, they couldn't be replaced. He showed me the up too date range of Maui Jims & I had no hesitation in replacing my old one with a new pair of 'MJ Sandhills'. Excellent service, really pleased with my purchase, keep up the good work guys!

Went into the Nottingham branch today and met Adam and the team fantastic bunch of guys. Extremely helpful. Adam even went out of his way and managed to fix my vintage ray bans from the 80s. We walked away very happy and with 2 beautiful new pairs of sunglasses ready for our holidays. Well worth the visit for the great service also very competitive prices.
