I have experience in practice - I have worked for 1 multiple and the rest independent opticians in my career. I have also managed optical lens labs (where your specs are made). I own personaleyez swadlincote ltd. and I run my business on my own around my family.

This was my first time at personalEyez Swadlincote and i must say the service was amazing very helpful with me while i was choosing my glasses never tried to push glasses on to me they just gave there honest opinion and my eye test was the best I've ever had i will never go to the big chain opticians again in Swadlincote please give personalEyez a try you won't be disappointed thank you again to all the lovely staff

The shop is always so clean and the service is always amazing. From the optician to the owner, everyone who works there is friendly and always wanting to go the extra mile to help! Worst experience ever. First my glasses were sent to the wrong opticians, 3 weeks later when i collected the glasses they didn't fit, no fitting was offered and I couldn't see out of them, I was told i will have to get used to them, its like the wrong lenses have been put in. After a few times of going in and getting nowhere I asked to speak to a manager to complain.
The manager then shouted at me saying there is no complaint I will get a refund and thats the end of it and I can go elsewhere. when I went in to collect the refund I asked why im being shouted at and I was shouted at again. I'm so nice and polite to everyone and have never been treated like this.

Very friendly staff, they always have a chat with you and how you are. They provide an excellent service and they don't rush you when looking at the glasses but they advise you on what suits you and any special coating might be best for you. I've been using then for a few years now for myself and my children. I would 100% recommend to my friends and family. I wouldn't go anywhere else.

My first time here and have to say the service was outstanding, the time and care taken in your eye test and choosing your frames was excellent, I was on my own too and had help in choosing the style, there was no pressure and there was lots of frames to choose from... when I picked up my glasses Faye sat and talked me through how to use them as I have varifocals.
I tried them 5 years ago and was unsuccessful, 5 days down and I still have them and all is going well ..Big thank you to Faye and all the girls there for your time and patience with me... I would highly recommend you

I was recommended to use personaleyez in Swadlincote by a friend, so when my eye test was due I decided to have it done there. It was the best decision I have made first class service from the eye test to the varifocals that I had which the Kodak lenses are crystal clear. The fitting was very good as I haven't had to go back for adjustment. I will definitely use them again and recommend Personaleyez in Swadlincote to my friends when they need new glasses

Good quality frames x had varifocal sunglasses from the store for my holidays this year x found the lenses a lot clearer than my varifocals frames from another shop that had last march from another shop that I wear daily (not sunglasses) so decided to check out there glasses and price for verifocal lense and frame x a massive difference in price x quoted £240 somewhere else x here £130 bargain x and staff are brill

Collected my new specs today, I'm over the moon with them, would recommend to anyone they use personal-eyez right from my eye test with 4 kids in toe up Until collection today (1 week later) I've been extremely happy with professionalism and communication, made me feel at ease when choosing frames, didn't try and add on extras and I've now come away with a bargain price for my new glasses and test..... The whole team at Personal-Eyez have been absolutely fantastic. After having an allergic reaction to my plastic glasses frames they helped when others wouldn't. I needed to find an opticians that would glaze wooden frames and even though the frames weren't purchased from them they did this for me. Faye helped me by explaining the kind of frame that could have prescription lenses in and looking on the internet for the kind of frame that would be suitable.
