Dominic Tunnell Opticians

I've just got home from having new lenses put in existing frames and I just wanted to share how brilliant my vision now is. it is as if everything has been polished and shines. Dom and I were talking and we reckon I've been going there since the late 80s before Dom even joined the practise. I have had my share of problems with my eyes over the years and I also react to even the slightest change in my vision so I have most definitely not been the easiest of clients but even when the going has got really tough Dom has always sorted me out to perfection and I cannot praise them highly enough. They almost feel like family now!

I have been a patient here for the last 6 years. It is interesting that the vast majority of patients here have been recommended by other satisfied patients rather than advertising. When I had huge problems with a pair of varifocals ( made elsewhere ) 6 years ago and at least 3 other opticians could not figure out the problem, they solved it within 15 minutes and I became a loyal customer.

I have been thoroughly impressed with their professionalism, reliability and continuity of care - I have seen the same clinical and admin team over the last 6 years which is very different to the large national optician chains. Moreover as a local business employing local people, I am proud to support them. Being in the clinical field myself, I can appreciate when they go the extra mile eg I am very short sighted with severe dry eyes and wear some steaming googles which brings relief to my chronically irritated eyes.

On mentioning it to Dominic, he devised a set of lenses which I can now wear over the Blephasteam goggles which has done wonders for my productivity. I hope to remain on their books for many more years to come :)

One of the best opticians i have been with no messing you are give you the advice you need and is always willnng to help there customers out very friendly never would go to another options. these people are well clued up when coming to helping customers with glasses and any enquires you have. glad i found this opticians would defently recommend to anyone

Started off as a lovely opticians. However, a few years back I told them I was going to be late for my appointment due to traffic which they said was fine. When I went in they told me I was too late for my appointment, I had to kick off to eventually get seen 15 minutes later. Another instance where I tried getting an appointment few months back over the phone to be greeted by a rude receptionist who wasn't helpful when I tried to get an appointment, which was urgent and she was not bothered that I wanted to leave the opticians.

I also had been prescribed the wrong lenses, one was long sighted, however my new opticians has said I am shortsighted in that eye. They just now care about money and not customer service

I have used this opticians for many years and have always been more than satisfied with the service I have received and would recommend them to anyone. Dominic and his team are always keen to help and make you feel like you are a very valuable customer

Excellent service and great staff. Came through when I lost my only pair of glasses, sorting everything and getting me a new pair in less time than it took me to have a bite to eat!

I've been going to Dominic for my glasses and contact lenses for over 20 years. It's a much more personal experience than specsavers and the staff go out of their way to make sure you leave happy! Highly Recommended!

Having a complex prescription and returning 7 pairs of spectacles over a two year period from 2 opticians, Dominic Tunnell and his great team managed the correct prescription at the first time of asking. Exceptional service from start to finish.

Superb eye optician great staff every friendly always willing to help an advise when you have a issue moved to this optician last year and won't move from them now.

I would never hesitate to recommend Dominic and his team. They are professional, competent, reliable and even funny! I had struggled for 2 years with an incorrectly dispensed prescription from another optician. Dominic was quick to spot this ( where three other opticians has failed to notice the issue with the varifocals ) and I was thrilled to actually get to see again without having to constantly flex my neck. I have been back numerous times since and have always been pleased with their efficient service.

I spent over 2 hrs there today having eye tests and came away without the prescription sunglasses I went into purchase. Lady did not try to show me sunglasses available. Awful service made worse by the fact I had a cold and no one even offered me a tissue while I waited. Lacked all levels of human touch or customer service. Poor.

Can't rate this opticians enough. So friendly and extremely helpful. I came away extremely happy with the glasses I had purchased and I will be recommending them.

Dominic and his team are fantastic- always so helpful and friendly. Great choice of frames for adults and children. Recently had DriveSafe lenses fitted - what a revelation! No more glare from oncoming traffic at night - highly recommend.

Well I started going to this opticians in the 1970s when Dominic's father ran the business. In family whole family went, how Giles talked to his customers didn't depend on how much they age geneger anything he treated everyone the same. He could strike up a conversation about anything because he was genuinely interested in them as individuals Why I mention this is Dominic is exactly the sane as his father personality-wise, they are probably not the cheapest but they are the best by a long way. Customers Services transends their market to one of the top two or three retail outlets in Worcester.

Best frames by far Oliver Peoples they are the only stockist in Worcester. and from next all must frames will be OP. Finally, my nephew has two opticians but still remain a customer here that tells you something
