The Outside Clinic

This was the first time we have used this service and were pleasantly surprised. The optician was very friendly and professional and very thorough. Because of my mother's mobility issues, this is the perfect service for her. Plus they gave her a guarantee, so should her glasses break or need adjusting they will make a home visit again. Will definately use the service again.

My mum suffers with dementia and diabetes, the optician was polite and careful when treating mum. The whole experience was one I can recommend for people who need home visits.

The optometrist was very patient with my very aged mother and was very clear in his results and advice.

The visit with the outside clinic was a very professional one. Our elderly friend of 93 years was treated with the utmost curtesy at all times. At the end of the procedures she was very satisfied with the results which were explained carefully and in no way patronising. The glasses were very suitable and she was happy with the outcome. We now await the glasses ordered.

I was very impressed with the service we received. Mum lives alone at a great distance from me. She has dementia and I was worried about a stranger going into her home. Mum enjoyed the visit and was impressed with the fact that everything was explained to her in a way that she could understand. They were obviously trained to look after people with dementia. I organised a home eye test for my mother-in-law, who is 96 and housebound. It's a brilliant service. Contact with people in the office on the phone was easy: they communicated day and time of appointment promptly and clearly. I was contacted again on the day when the optician was on his way to confirm the exact time. The optician himself, Steve, was very professional, but also a simply delightful man who could not have been more helpful.
