Our Opticians are fully qualified, experienced and attend regular courses to gain further knowledge and qualifications to remain on the General Optical Council Register.

Here at Gathercole & Ward, we have some of the latest technology which helps with the early diagnosis and treatment of a number of eye conditions including Glaucoma, Macular Degeneration and more!. The health of your eyes matters to you and it matters to us too, which is why we are offering OCT to all our patients.
Gathercole & Ward offer a free trial service on most monthly and daily soft contact lenses. These are subject to certain prescription limits and up to a maximum two-month fitting period. Any extension to this period will incur the full fitting fee. Toric (for astigmatism) and multifocal contact lens fitting fees range from 65.00 - 110.00, plus exchange fees.
