This has got to be one of my best retail experiences, ever. From the moment I first visited this shop, Natalie introduced herself and patiently took me through their range of specs, then my second visit to see the Optometrist (Amy) for my eye test and on my final visit to pick up my new spectacles Neelum (Dispensing Optician) made sure that I was happy with my new glasses. A very friendly atmosphere from all the staff whilst I was there. John

I have seen a number of opticians over the years and although all have been very good Horrocks & Boyd have stood out as exceptional. Both in terms of the service they provide, their professionalism and personal approach. Although they are always busy their premises are never packed out like a supermarket.

I have a strong (varifocal) prescription and sensitive sinuses so getting both the prescription and weight right is quite a challenge, needing multiple visits to make fine adjustments so the glasses fit comfortably. After sales has been excellent, Jack in particular - very patient. I've used used other independent and chain opticians in Kingston but none are as professional and understanding as Horrocks and Boyd, particularly when it comes to after sales care. Highly recommend.

Excellent Optians. Mr Ferguson took a lot of time examining and testing my eyes. They have a great range of frames but you don't feel any pressure to purchase from them. I did and I'm really pleased with style, fit and price. I have recommended Horrocks and Boyd to friends and they are also very happy with them.

Horrocks and Boyd is a brilliant practice because staff are very welcoming and professional and the range of spectacle frames is gorgeous. The environment is very calm and soothing, modern and aesthetically pleasing. Mr Ferguson generates an unrushed assessment of optical change; Jack is very knowledgeable about the suitability of the frames, and Denise is very efficient with the tests. I love my new spectacles and recommend this practice unreservedly because it gives great customer service.

I can't recommend Horrocks & Boyd enough. Lyndon was incredibly thorough with my eye examination and made me feel at ease. He explained all the equipment that was used and took time to explain my prescription and the health of my eyes. Similarly Jack was very knowledgeable and was patient with me as I chose my lenses. He made excellent suggestions and the glasses I chose, were the ones he originally picked out for me! The shop is friendly and welcoming, with an excellent range of frames. Definitely the best service I've received from any opticians. Thank you!
